Random: Programming Language Girls!

Well… one day I had the brilliant (and possibly questionable) idea: what if programming languages were buff anime girls?

Each design reflects its ecosystem, philosophy, and the erm… emotional experience of working with these girls.

Rust-chan: This strict and nerdy Steampunk engineer is your friend… just like the Rust compiler! She might be hard to work with at first, but with her trusty Cargo backpack, she’ll make sure everything is rock-solid and blazing fast.
JS-chan: A slightly messy, confused Gyaru. No one, including herself, really knows why she’s the most popular kid on the block! Equipped with her overstuffed npm bag and flavour-of-the-month framework accessories, she gets the job done… somehow.
Ruby-nee: Elegant, refined, and a bit of an acquired taste. This Geisha is not the youngest, nor the most popular anymore, but she still knows how to make developers happy with a wealth of gems tucked neatly into her furoshiki bundle!

Rhia: “Melly?!?”
Melanie: “I don’t get it either…”
Amy: “Dinnae worry, lassies.”
Sandra: “Passable…”
Cassy: “What language would you be, Dr. Flößer?” 🤔
Sandra: “Mhm… C++?”
Amy: “More like ALGOL, auld hen, aye?”

Cassy: “Wow, Melly, Rhi-Rhi! Look look look!”
Cassy: “There’s a new gym in town and we have to go there!” 😁

Melanie: “Why?”
Melanie: “Between our place and Amy’s, you have all the equipment you could possibly want.”
