Weight Concerns
Cassy: “Are you sure that’s not too heavy for you?”
Siggy: “Perfectly fine.”
Cassy: “Really? You know that lifting too heavy is risky, right?”
Siggy: “You are casually curling at least 3× the weight of mine…”
Cassy: “Well, I’m almost 3× your we—… uhhh…”
Siggy: “… and I love that!”
Cassy: “Thanks!” 😳💞
Cassy: “And this dumbbell is roughly your weight!” 😉
*Author’s note: Cassy is actually using concrete weights with rubber wrapping here. Why? Well, concrete has only about a third of the density of steel, and she finds it amusing if people think she’s easily curling 200+ kg. Though her usual weights are in the 60–80 kg range for one-arm curls, which is still mighty impressive even for other strength athletes.
Oh… and she sometimes drops the weights when something more exciting happens, damaging the floor… the rubber does help with that!
